Okidata B6500N Printer – A Performance Home Printer
When they designed this printer, it is obvious the company wanted to create a real workhorse machine. The Okidata B6500N Printer is a valuable piece of performance equipment. It does its monochrome printing both reliably and with speed. Fully digital and able to be upgraded, you will find yourself relying on it for a long, long time. The Okidata B6500N printer toner cartridge is exactly what you’ll need to go with it.
When you are in business, you know that time equals money. Saving one means you also save the other. With a 533-megahertz processor, you can count on this printer to do both. The first page of your print jobs will be turned out in 8 seconds or less. It can print as many as 45 pages per minute. All of the black and white prints will be perfect.
Text pages come out pristinely and images are sharp and clear. Making out smaller details is never a problem. This printer has an optional feature that allows you to shrink several pages and condense them into one. Even these types of printouts are easy to read.
This machine can also be purchased with duplex printing. So, using both sides of the paper has never been easier. The 1200 X 1200 DPI resolution ensures great quality printouts, every time. You can create pamphlets with ease. If you need to print private documents, you can set up a pin service. You will never have to worry about someone gaining access to private information.
This machine also makes efficient use of toner, which saves you money. You can even turn on a toner saving feature. The printing comes out a little lighter, but remains fully readable. You will not have to change the Okidata B Series printer cartridge as often as you do with other laser printers. The standard cartridges can print up to 6,000 pages, before needing to be changed, which is almost twice as many as some comparable models. It also comes with a toner cartridge. That means it is ready to use, as soon as you open the box. A convenient top panel makes it easy to change the toner or drum when necessary. It also has a time delay, so you can tell it when you want it to start a job.
The Okidata B6500N Printer has a great paper capacity for larger jobs. It comes ready to hold up to 700 sheets. The 700-sheet feed is split into two trays. The larger tray holds 550 sheets. The second, smaller tray is multi-purpose and holds 150 sheets. This comes in handy for printing envelopes or similar tasks. Additional trays can be purchased that allow you to add an additional 1, 100 sheets of media. So, it is ready to handle anything from the smallest job to the largest.
This printer comes Ethernet ready. It can network with your entire office because it uses TCP/IP or LPR/LPD protocols. It can work with Macintosh, Linux or Windows based computers. If you have upgraded your office to the Vista operating system, there are drivers available that will be compatible. Regardless of what you intend to use it for, the Okidata B6500N cartridge is ready for you.
