What Are the Causes of Shoulder Pain
There are many different reasons as to why people experience pain in the shoulder blade. Many of these causes could include a truamatic event such as a accident or from performing repetitive actions ( such as lifting heavy items)at an occupation. A friend of mine while playing catch with his son, started having shoulder problems just days after catching and throwing the ball ( ouch.. ). Whatever the case maybe, once the pain occurs it becomes very annoying.Sometimes it’s hard to raise your arms and sometimes it can become so bad that you can’t get a good night’s rest
3 Tips That can Help with Pain in the shoulder blade
Although pain in the shoulder blade, isn’t the most comfortable, there are somethings that you can do to help get rid of this on going issue .
- Rest : Most people would agree that this is the best option. However this is one of those easier said then done options because depending on your lifestyle or occupation , you may not have the time to do this. By allowing your shoulder to rest, it gives the body time to naturally heal itself
- Exercise : when i say this, i dont mean strengh training . Yet by not moving your shoulder , it can become stiff . With therapeutic exercises such as tai chi and yoga , they assist in a range in motion causing blood to flow through out the body
- Cortisone injections: this would be the last option only if rest or therapeutic exercises are just not able to fit in your schedule or lifestyle .Please consult with you physician to get more information about cortisone injections and how they can help you when dealing with pain in the shoulder blade

Using one or all of these methods can definitely help you when dealing with shoulder pain . You want to take action as you can to avoid any long term damage that may occur . Again make sure that you consult a doctor to find out the best method that would work for you
