Semi-automatic machines are certainly the most elementary, and very effective, medium of washing clothes, and when it comes to Samsung, there is no compromise of any sort whatsoever in the quality of washing quality. The world leader in consumer electronics, Samsung has customised every product in this range to suit the needs of Indian homes, and this begins with the plastic exterior body that is rust and corrosion proof.
The revolutionary Silver Nano technology, a 3 step procedure comprising of three stages, removes dirt and bacteria from clothes. This is done with the assistance of Silver Nano ions that are emitted during the wash cycle, which are then permeated into the clothes in the wash and rinse cycles. This is achieved via the melting of Silver Ceramic crystals. The result of this procedure is not only clean clothes, but removal of bacteria, and maintenance of that condition for as long as one week! Another benefit of this technology is the removal of body odour, as without the presence of bacteria, sweat formation is considerably reduced, resulting in no decomposition. Also, clothes can be stored for longer periods and still be fresh, again, as there is no bacteria. Clothes subject to the wash cycle also maintain their shape, minus any signs of stretching, shrinking, pilling or fading. Further, there is no need of hot water as well, since the Silver Nano technology makes use of cold water to clean clothes.
The wash and rinse cycles are also aided by the Double Storm Pulsator. The inner and outer blades of the machine’s pulsator spin to create two water currents (horizontal and vertical) within the washing drum. This moves the clothes without entangling them with each other. The Magic Filter in Samsung semi-automatic washing machines helps in better collection of lint in case of low water levels, something that is certainly a problem in case of machines from other manufacturers, as the placement of the filter is towards the upper end of the drum. However, in case of Samsung machines, the filter is located towards the bottom, also ensuring better collection in case of high water levels.
The waterfall effect, i.e., water falling from the ducts situated at the top alike in case of a shower mixes with the rotating current in the machine, to deliver a better and more effective wash, with the cuffs and collars of shirts getting special attention. Further, detergent is mixed in a better manner to prevent stains that might arise due to improper mixing. The unique tub walls of Samsung semi automatic washing machines deliver a scrubbing effect to the clothes to give better cleaning, and lower the chances of the need for manual wash.
Post the washing, India’s first washing machine range with the revolutionary Super Dry technology has a 10 minute spin dry cycle (double that of a regular semi automatic washing machine) that delivers optimum drying even during winters. The powerful motor extracts more moisture from the clothes and reduces the drying time.
