Gallbladder Disease and its Symptoms by Annabelle Drilon
Many people have fallen into the wrong notion of that if they skip breakfast or lunch, they can save up all those calories for the party. Well, that may sound like a good idea, but skipping meals can only make you tired so that you end up consuming more calories than the ones you avoided earlier in the day. It is much better to have a light breakfast and lunch if you are planning to attend a dinner party than skipping two important meals and binge. A much wiser, smarter and responsible approach to watching calorie intake would be to eat only small portions of your favorites and make sure you sit next to a fellow healthy eater. That way, you will have more time chatting than munching.
One way to avoid overindulging on almost anything serve at the buffet table is to walk around and catch up on some friends or just befriend other guests. Overindulgence on high-cholesterol foods will greatly put a strain on your intestine and liver as well as the gallbladder. Yes, the gallbladder, that small sac located below the liver in the right upper abdomen and the repository for the powerful digestive acid called bile.
Little did we know that binging on fatty foods has put so much strain not only on the liver but also the gallbladder. Being the storage and dispenser of that acidic bile, it also store up the cholesterol that is mixed with the bile. It will later on calcify and form gallstones. Once gallstones are formed, it is only a matter of time when you will feel the gallbladder symptoms associated with it. Though gallstones usually form in the gallbladder, however, they are also formed anywhere there is bile; in the intrahepatic, hepatic, common bile, and cystic ducts. Gallstones can move about in the bile, for example, from the gallbladder into the cystic or common duct.
For individuals who suspects they may have gallstones or are already suffering from it, do not ignore it but try to do something before it starts to get worst. In the first place, you should have tried to avoid the formation of gallstones so you may have ended up feeling those gallbladder symptoms. But then it is not too late yet. There are many ways actually how you can prevent gallstone formation and get rid of gallstones naturally if you have them already (and eventually rule out gallbladder surgery). The following tips are intended for everyone especially those who are suffering from gallbladder problems:
