Charming Bruges Hotels And A Great Nightlife
There is plenty to see and do on a day out in Bruges, but one should not overlook the fun to be had in the evenings. It has plenty of exciting and modern pubs, clubs and bars which welcome tourists and local regulars on a daily basis. With so many great deals around on Bruges hotels you can save your pennies for some delicious Belgian beer!
The magnificent four-star Apollo Arthotel Brugge is superbly located near the famous city gates and imposing medieval ramparts. Another great option is the Brugotel Hotel, which has been revamped and done up and provides great buffet meals in its restaurant. The historic centre of Bruges is a mere stroll away but the hotel provides free parking for drivers. Elsewhere there is the Montovani Hotel, which at two-stars is perfect for travellers on a budget. Bruges hotels have a great reputation for their excellent service and a real perk of this hotel is a courtesy discount card offered to all guests which guarantees money off on the price of museum entrances, bicycle hire and canal trips.
Rock-out in the evenings at The Crash – Rock Café after dark. Not for the fainthearted, this venue promotes drinking, very loud music and even stagediving! If you’re after something more low-key, spend some time in the ‘t Brugs Beertje’ beerhouse. Claiming not to be in fact a ‘pub’ but instead a “worthy tasting house” offering its regular and welcome foreign customers a total of 300 beers. It’s great for a late night with closing times of after midnight all through the week. If you’d like a more refined evening out, your best bet is the Grand Café du Theatre cocktail bar. A selection of Bruges hotels is never far away from the venue so you can stay out into the small hours and still get home easily.
