The HP 8000dn Printer And It’s Plenty Of Applications
When considering the HP LaserJet 8000dn printer using HP LaserJet 8000dn toner cartridges, make sure to give all of its capabilities and functions the consideration they’re due because there are plenty of them. This particular Hewlett-Packard printer is surprisingly low priced and delivers its monochrome print products very capably and with typical HP reliability, which is not only not surprising but also very comforting.
To start, the 8000dn is capable of printing out product at over 24 pages per minute in standard or “normal” mode. For those who want slightly faster speeds, it’s possible to set print quality slightly lower, though any product that emerges from this printer will be sure to be excellent almost across the board. Again, this is a bit surprising for printer at this price point.
The Hewlett-Packard 8000dn can also be connected to a network through a number of different wired connections. This includes traditional parallel porting and even a very nice Ethernet 10/100 port. In short, most any information technology specialist will make short work of the chore when it comes to hooking up this versatile monochrome printer to just about any network.
The 8000dn also features fine print resolution, as well. It delivers 1,200 dots per inch (dpi) printing capability, which is excellent, especially when one learns that most printers priced at a similar level are only capable of delivering 600 dots per inch of print resolution. Hewlett-Packard seems to have done an excellent job of including some of its vast functions in one of its lower-priced printers. If HP LaserJet bulk toner runs low, finding replacement toners online could not be more convenient.
Another pleasing aspect of the 8000dn is that it also has a nice duplex printing function that is usually only found in printers costing more than what this particular one list that. Duplex printing is the ability of the printer to print out both sides of a document without a person having to remove the paper manually, for the most part. Small businesses love having this kind of capability.
The machine comes standard with a full 24 MB of RAM, which is usually more than enough for the needs of most any workgroup. It can be increased greatly, all the way up to 192 MB, with very little trouble. Check with the office IT specialist to see if a memory upgrade should be done prior to networking the machine. Chances are, though, that it won’t be required.
The 8000dn is able to hold 1,100 sheets of paper within its capacious storage trays, and it can print out on a variety of media elements, including standard letter, legal, envelope and transparencies. Check the specifications for all of the different media sizes, because there are a great many. Like most HP printers, it has been designed to work with Windows-based operating systems.
In total, looking at all of the capabilities and functions of the HP LaserJet 8000dn printer shows a machine that’s ready to go and comes in at a surprisingly low sub-$300 price tag. If one can be found on the marketplace, whether new, used or refurbished, it would probably be a good idea to snap it up while it’s still around, because it’s highly capable and very durable.
Part of the appeal with this particular printer comes from the LaserJet 8000dn printer toners and its ability to produce product with clarity and sharpness. HP replacement toners in general seems to have this characteristic and its true that quality toner cartridge refills will always shine through.
