The Dualit Toaster, It’s The Last Toaster You’ll Ever Buy by Joie
The Dualit 4-slice toaster is an appliance for the serious cook. There isn’t a better breakfast appliance anywhere. This particular toaster comes in a wide selection of colors including mint green, lavendar blue, and red, but if your kitchen is more traditional the chrome toaster is also very stylish with a fun retro presence.
This toaster is hand manufactured in the UK. It’s apparent that the English are experts at toast, as this is a sturdy piece of kitchen equipment. In a world where so much seems to be disposable these days it’s nice to find a sturdy appliance that will not end up in the landfill in a few months. For those of us trying to consume less and opt for higher quality appliances this is a smart and thrifty 4-slice toaster for the long run.
This appliance is child’s play to operate. The controls are all hand operated, so you use a lever to put the the English muffin into the 28mm wide slot and then set the knob to toast your breakfast for up to 4 minutes. Your toast will not eject out of the appliance when it’s done and cool off before you have a chance to butter it, with this toaster you use the same toggle switch to raise your toast from the slot.
The Dualit 4-slice toaster has a patented Pro-heat system that will brown your toast just the way you like it. The large slots easily fit any kind of bread or bagel, and Dualit makes a sandwich cage for this toaster. That sandwich cage makes the best ever ham and cheese sandwiches, and it cleans up in a snap in the dishwasher. No worries about cleaning you new appliance either, there’s a no fuss detachable crumb tray on the bottom of the Dualit toaster. It actually does contain the mess, and it’s a piece of cake to get off when you’re ready to clean it.
This Dualit toaster is a long lived product. It was orginally manufactured for restaurants and hotels, and Dualit guarantees that their product can make 130 slices of toast every hour. That’s good news if you’re making breakfast for a group, but if you only need a couple of pieces in the morning, you can and make enough for one. The Dualit is a quality toaster.
